As the Office Manager/Escrow Officer, my job entails managing the title company and overseeing all day-to-day operations, as well as closing transactions, and taking care of any issues that may arise.
I was born in Ballinger, TX and was raised on a farm west of Rowena. I have six brothers and three sisters. I graduated from Miles High School and started working at Stroman right out of High School. I started off as an Abstractor and I worked my way to be a Closing Officer and the Manager. I am happily married, and I have one daughter and two cats. In my free time, I like to be outdoors, work on my garden and spend time with family and friends.
As an Escrow Officer, I check title commitments, help clear title requirements, facilitate the signing of documents for closings, fund transactions and issue title policies. I also am the Assistant Manager, so I support the Office Manager in a variety of tasks such as training employees, filing reports and more.
I started at Stroman Title in 1993, learning all aspects of the title business from an order being initiated, through take-offs and run sheets (researching title), issuing commitments and conducting closings. In my time off, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband is Charles Ditmore and our son, Morgan, wife is Katie, and he graduated from Texas A&M University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. They now live in Houston, TX. Our daughter, Haley, is starting her college career at Angelo State University in the Fall of 2022, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Our other “kids” are our pets, Phantom and Blackie. We like to volunteer with youth groups, garden, and go camping just about anywhere in our camper when we can.
As an Escrow Officer, I close and fund transactions and issue title policies for our clients.
I started working for Stroman Title as an Abstractor in January 2007 after graduating from Angelo State University with a BA in English specialized in Professional Writing. My life outside of work revolves around my handsome twin boys and best friends, Michael and Elijah. I love spending time with my family, taking road trips, going to concerts, and watching movies.
As an Escrow Officer, I handle the total aspect of closing a file such as reviewing the commitment and dealing with curative matters, settlement statement preparation, disbursement of funds, preparing loan packages and preparing the title policy.
In 2019, I changed jobs from Stewart Title in San Antonio where I was a Branch Manager to Stroman Title. What a fantastic move it turned out to be! The people at Stroman are very family oriented and care about their community and their employees. After over 30 years of being in the title industry, I can tell you that they are a good company to be a part of. My time off is spent between my two daughters and their families. My Grandson lives here in San Angelo which is one of the main reasons I moved here. My two Granddaughters are close to NYC which is why I am flying up there so often! I love cooking and baking; I had a catering business for a couple of years. I am also a Baylor Bear!
As the Supervising Escrow Assistant, I issue commitments and send title work to lenders, real estate agents and buyers. I also will cure issues that may be on the Title, order surveys and payoffs.
I started with Stroman in 2014 as an Abstractor. From there I moved to the Data Entry position and then became an Escrow Assistant. Before joining Stroman, I worked at the County Clerk’s office in the Real Estate department for 4 years. My favorite part about working at Stroman is that it feels like a family. I have 2 adult sons and in my free time, I enjoy hanging with my husband and my dogs and relaxing at home!
As an Escrow Assistant I run the Sterling City plant- I take care of runsheets/downdates, plant data entry, provide copies of county clerk records, and man the Starling City office 2x per week. For the San Angelo office, I am backup for typing commitments, issuing policies and runsheets.
I started working for Sterling Title Company in 2006 and came with the company to maintain the title plant when it was sold to Stroman Title in August 2018. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, which has surprisingly came in handy many times. In my free time, I like to read Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels, do digital art, and play table top games with shiny dice and friends once a week. Occasionally, I will remember that Netflix/Hulu/theaters are a thing and that there are amazing Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Animation series and movies to catch up on. I have been a long time San Angelo resident. I have been married for 6 years to an equally geeky husband and we have two very spoiled cats.
As the receptionist at Stroman Title, I handle things like answering the phones, welcoming clients to our offices, ordering supplies and all the things in between.
I was born and raised in Lowake, TX. I graduated from Midland College with my Veterinary Technology degree and later graduated from Howard College with her Surgical Technology degree. During my time off I love to spend time with my family especially my son Caden. My family and I enjoy the country life, cooking out and spending time with each other and working with the animals and livestock herd.
As an Abstractor, I import images to TitleSearch and retrieve District Court information from the courthouse. I will also enter and edit the indexing information for daily take-offs and then will import, export and post the completed take-offs.
I’m 20 years old and born and raised in Pollok, Texas. I am currently attending Angelo State University and working towards a degree in Agribusiness with a minor in Administration and Range/Wildlife. When I am not working or studying I enjoy hanging out with my friends, spending time with my dog and working on my photography.
As the Human Resources Manager, I assist management in updating, developing, and enforcing company policies and practices. I also assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
I started at Stroman in January of 2021 as an Escrow Assistant/Funder. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2011. I also received a Certification in Human Resources in 2022. I got married to my husband, Jose, in 2021. We have 3 pets: Mowgli, Kinsler and Harper. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Some of my favorite things about working for Stroman are my great coworkers and the steady supply of chocolate chip cookies.
As the Marketing Coordinator for Stroman, I am responsible for all of the social media marketing, event planning, communications and any other marketing needs that may arise.
I am an ASU Alumni with my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Advertising. I have worked in the Marketing and Event planning industry in some form of capacity for over 15 years. As a San Angelo native and a small business owner, I am passionate about our little community and small businesses. On my spare time, I coordinate events for the city such as Paintbrush Alley Market Days, Concho Valley Food Truck Festival and San Angelo Food & Wine Festival. I stay busy between planning events, helping my husband in his small business and juggling 3 kids and their activities. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As an Escrow Assistant at Stroman Title, I work with the Escrow Officers to ensure that the title is clear to close. My job starts after the attorneys finished their title examination, from there a title commitment is typed and curative matters are taken care of. I have also started funding the files after the documents are signed by the buyers and sellers, which consists of cutting checks, sending wires, and recording the documents with the County Clerk.
I started working at Stroman Title back in January 2021 as the runner and did that for basically all of 2021. During my time as the runner, I learned the basics of setting up the files and receipting earnest money and option fees. I had to leave Stroman in December of 2021 as my class schedule for my final semester at Angelo State was very lab heavy and I wasn’t able to come in the afternoons to be the runner. After I graduated, I came back to Stroman as an Escrow Assistant. I’m originally from Abilene, but have family in San Angelo, so San Angelo is nothing new for me. When I’m not at work you can probably find me playing Dead by Daylight or watching the newest Marvel TV show that is out.
